Devo — Devo's Nitrous Nightmare

This is maybe the first time I’ve sat down and listened to a Devo album; it was certainly the first live recording I listened to. A tremendous amount of fun around a generally ignored side of Devo’s output.

The Mountain Goats — Days

Going to Fennario was written shortly after Bobby Weir’s death, and while John Darnielle never was part of the jam-band post-Dead circuit, he has paid tribute to them many times in performances and writing. It’s a beautiful song, that still brings tears to my face.
